oin us and lead artist Crystal Tamez to discuss the full-restoration of "Peace & Remembrance," a community mural at the corner of S. Trinity and San Patricio. Meetings will be at the San Anto Centro @ 2120 El Paso St. on May 8, 13, and 17 at 6:30pm. Assistant artist is Emma Diaz.

An all-female team of twelve and thirteen year old artists (of which Crystal was a member of) designed and painted this mural to honor Westside victims of inner-city violence, including drive-by shootings, gang violence, and domestic violence.

We want to be sure to focus on the significance of the mural and what it means to the community as well as honor the dearly departed that it commemorates. Please take part and lend your voice to this process.
