Walter Nold Mathis, who purchased and restored Villa Finale in 1967, would have celebrated his 97th birthday on Saturday, August 13th. In observance of the occasion, Villa Finale will be offering FREE self-guided tours of the first floor from 10:00am - 1:00pm on his birthday. As a special treat, we will have demonstrations of Mathis' Deluxe Model Violano Virtuoso - a circa 1912 music machine with two violins and a full size piano board - at the top of each hour preceded by a brief introduction to the machine's history.
