JAMES KEANE (accordion) is a composer, storyteller and masterful musician. As one of Ireland’s finest performers, Keane has evolved the standards of amaccordion playing around the world. Keane’s compositions invoke a musical mind from an ancient tradition, nurtured by his family for generations. A seminal album ‘With Friends Like These’ featured the best musicians of the Irish tradition performing his tunes, including Liam O’Flynn, Matt Molloy, Tommy Peoples, Kevin Conneff and Paddy Glackin. Keane has recorded eight highly acclaimed studio albums and appeared on many classic records. More recently, Keane has been presenting multimedia lectures, recordings of which are available at the Smithsonian Folk Life Collection and the Library of Congress. His talks using his renowned humor, expertise and memories of the tradition come from a life between Ireland and New York where he has lived and performed for many decades.

JEFF MOORE (guitar & vocals) is a highly sought-after accompanist living in Austin, Texas and has performed with many of the foremost Irish and Scottish music ensembles and musicians in the Southwest including most recently the band Aidan. An accomplished guitarist and singer, Jeff has also accompanied international touring musicians such as Dublin-born Irish accordion legend James Keane, master Irish fiddler James Kelly, Irish music icon Joe Burke and Solas accordion wizard John Williams.

CHRISTOPHER BUCKLEY (fiddle) grew up in Milwaukee WI and moved to Austin in 2001. He's been a student of the violin since the age of 3 and began playing Irish fiddle at the age of 14. Shortly after arriving in Austin, Christopher became a founding member of the highly energetic Texas Irish band Cluan. In addition, Christopher has performed with Blaggards, Tea Merchants (who in 2007 won the Austin Music Award for Best World Music) and continues to perform in the band Aidan.
