Lo Esperamos (We are Waiting) is an annual Live, Bilingual nativity journey.

The Journey starts with Roman Centurion guards who ask each family to participate in the census. Guests are then taken past the wise men, just setting camp for the night (with a live camel), and the shepherds (with live sheep) packing up to follow the angel to the new King.

While walking through the streets of a bustling Bethlehem, guests will find no vacancies, and will finally come upon the stable with the Baby Jesus and family surrounded by animals

We at St. John’s, Grace and Our Savior Lutheran churches in San Antonio are called to bring the Christmas story to life in a new way for our community. Lo Esperamos (translation: We are Waiting) is an annual live nativity journey, created by our congregations, free of charge for our community. A San Antonio event for the whole family.
