This is an invitation from Silverado to enjoy a concert of a capella music covering a span of 140 years (1840 to 1980) of traditional, Broadway, Stage and Movie Classics, Church, Gospel, and songs from the Vaudeville period and Early Americana. For interest, we’ve thrown in a few contemporary ones as well.

Many of you have heard our quartet at a restaurant, a house party, or during our singing valentine efforts. While you’ve heard two or three melodies, few have heard our 20+ repertoire of songs. One of members had a job commitment this past year, the result of which was that for the first time in 15 years we were unable to do singing valentines in 2014: our primary fund-raising activity that helps pay for outfits, contest entries, and music copywriter fees.

Because we lost that opportunity, we hope to turn lemons into lemonade and are asking for a “donation” of $10/person (paid at the door) for the concert. If you’re financially unable to contribute the $10, we still want (no strongly desire) your attendance at our performance! We believe music is medicinal, and our goal is to lift your spirits and let you forget your problems for a time.
