The walk is led by Master Naturalist Ron Tullius. Ron points out the common tree species found in the park, such as Eve's Necklace, Hogplum and Lotebush.The group meets behind the PHP Urban Ecology Center Gathering Hall before walking the Oak Loop Trail. The 2014 Phil Hardberger Park Nature Walk series is sponsored by the Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy, the Alamo Area Master Naturalists and the Sierra Club.
